Meet Dr. Dinah

Having spent much of her childhood living overseas, Dr. Dinah Jammal was immersed in a variety of cultures and experiences that broadened her understanding of people and the world around her. This early exposure sparked her deep interest in personal connections, and Dr. Dinah knew she wanted to continue fostering this passion by healing and helping others. It was only natural that during dental school she would combine these passions along with her upbeat, nurturing personality and dedicate her career to working with children and their families.

The dream of Polished Pediatric Dentistry became a reality after Dr. Dinah welcomed her son into the world. As a new mother, her vision for the practice took shape around the idea of creating a space that is not only child-friendly but also warm and welcoming for families. For Dr. Dinah, Polished is more than just a pediatric dental office; it’s an extension of her home—a place where your children can feel safe, cared-for, and part of a larger family.

Dr. Dinah Jammal earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (RSDM), followed by a specialty degree in pediatric dentistry from St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. During her residency, she served as chief resident, which strengthened her aspirations for teaching and mentorship.

Dr. Dinah is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Due to her extensive experience with treating infants, as well as children with special needs, complex medical backgrounds, and dental anxiety, Dr. Dinah has been recognized on several occasions by NJ Top Dentists and NJ Favorite Kid’s Doc. Dr. Dinah currently resides in Marlboro with her husband Ammar, their son Samer, and their two rescue cats.

Outside of the office, you can often find Dr. Dinah spending time with her large and lively extended family. She loves playing the piano in her free time and is a dedicated Arsenal F.C. fan. As a self-proclaimed pop culture enthusiast, Dr. Dinah has a deep love for film and entertainment—Oscar and Grammy Night are serious events in her household!
